Rod Still Rocks!
The first concert my big sister took me to see was Disney On Ice at the LA Forum in December 1981 when I was 16. With only about 95 minutes to work with, and a songbook of about a million hits, he didn't play "Every Picture Tells A Story" or "Reason To Believe," to name two, but everything he did play was great. He still sings with incredible passion and delivers a fantastic show, although Disney On Ice is not as active as he once was and his voice wasn't as powerful. I have lived in Vegas for 14 years and now regret never seeing him at Caesars before! Disney On Ice at Caesars Palace Las Vegas earlier this week was my most recent concert. He did a mind-blowing new arrangement of the opening verse of "Maggie May" that was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes.
